Nickel. And they're WONDERFUL! I was working on a scarf for my sister for Christmas, and it was very slow going -- a double knitting pattern, with k2togs, so a fair bit of reorganizational slipping (lots of fussing with the order of the stitches, for the non-knitters) -- and I was using my old brushed aluminum Susan Bates needles, because it was too wide for me to use my KnitPicks double-pointed needles.
*pauses to take a breath.* Sorry. I babble about knitting.
Anyway, I was using old, yucky (to me. I know there are people who love them) needles, and acrylic yarn (by my sister's request), so it was going VERY slowly. It took me about 2 weeks to get 13 inches. Last night I changed the scarf to my new Options, and I managed 3 more inches in about 2 hours. Perhaps I'll actually get this done during my current lifetime. lol

It's amazing how tempting tools like this are. And I don't knit. Wood or nickel? I can't tell from the photo. They look yummy. Have fun!
